Guy Weekend 2026 Fall

Oh boy, get ready to live on the edge, folks. Wisconsin has officially turned riding a UTV into a high-stakes, corporate-approved field trip.

Here is the thrilling rundown of how to have absolute minimum fun within the full bounds of the law:

  • Buckle Up, Buttercup: Seatbelts are strictly mandatory for everyone. Because nothing says “rugged off-road adventure” quite like being strapped down like you’re on a suburban commute to Trader Joe’s.
  • Goggles or Glass: You must wear eye protection unless your UTV has a windshield—because heaven forbid a rogue gnat ruins your day.
  • The Kid Helmets: Helmets are only legally required if you’re under 18, but don’t worry, the DNR politely “recommends” everyone wear one. Feel free to cherish that mild suggestion.
  • Size Matters (A Lot): Your machine can’t weigh a pound over 3,500 lbs or measure an inch past 65 inches wide. Plus, you need two fully operational tail lights and legal window tint, because we wouldn’t want your off-road trail rig failing a highway safety inspection.
  • Show Us Your Papers: If you had the audacity to be born on or after New Year’s Day in 1988, you can’t just drive—you need to complete an officially sanctioned safety course first. You also have to be a ripe old 16 years of age to handle a route on your own.
  • No Fun Towing: Thinking of pulling your buddy on a sled behind you on the trail? Banned. Unless, of course, their machine is completely broken down—then it’s fine. Oh, and if you’re pulling people across frozen lake ice, make sure you don’t break the sound barrier: strict 10 mph cap.

Enjoy the wild outdoors, brought to you by middle management!
